The following Highland Lynx or Highlander cats are retiring from our breeding program or did not make the cut. A few have been returned per our policy. We want them to finish out their lives as pampered family members. Adults make great companions and have many more years to share with you. We have the best interest for our cats at heart and we love them. From time to time we retire a cat from our program for several reasons. First, in an effort to constantly improve the breeding quality of our cats, if a kitten is born that has great potential and quality then we will often retire the mother/father who has out produced her/himself. We also do not believe in breeding our females more than a few times. Or, perhaps a kitten did not turn out as nicely as we had hoped, among many other reasons. These cats have been loved in our home. We want them to be in homes where they can be the center of attention. We also from time to time take in rescues. Adults are much less expensive than kittens and become just as good friends. All companions will be spayed/neutered prior to leaving. None of our cats live outside, they are merely being supervised or are on a Catio.
